You asked for it, so we got it.  This kit is styled like a Mosrite JR guitar. Great for anyone looking for something a bit different.

This kit contains everything you need to build your guitar.  Just add your finish materials to the body and neck.  These kits aren’t just a collection of random parts- each neck has been custom fitted to the body to ensure a good, snug fit.  Includes an unfinished, predrilled body, fretted neck, all electronics and hardware. Wood is raw and unfinished, may require sanding and patching or other preparation prior to applying a finish.

Basic instructions included. Sold as a complete kit only.

Excellent kit

Great build. Plays as well as my $1500 Ibanez. I bought two more!

Excellent quality kit for the price!

This Most style guitar kit was exactly what I was looking for. Having never owned this type of guitar in my 20 plus years of guitar playing and building and the fact that I've been a lifelong JR fan made this a perfect choice. With the over inflated prices "Brand Name" guitars and after market parts at this point I'd be happy to play this build and play an instrument with an expensive headstock decal again.

Great but not perfect

The kit I got was fantasticly put together minus a few things. The nut was too high and there was no string retainer to hold the strings down. My kit also got some feet buzz on the 12th fret but it’s easy to sort out. Very good

Solid kit, minor fixes

Great woodwork and everything lined up. The nut MUST be removed and sanded down to where the strings rest on the zero fret, not float above it or intonation is purely impossible. The zero fret is supposed to be the nut with the nut merely a guide to keep the strings spaced correctly. I replaced the supplied plastic nut with bone anyway. Also, the neck thickness is too thick to my liking. I shaved at least 1/4 inch off and it feels much more comfortable. Used an Oripure hotrail style mini humbucker in the bridge and sounds amazing.

Great Value If you don't mind a little neck work

I got this kit as a gift and I had planned to upgrade the hardware - but once it was build and I was using it, I decided to keep it just as it is. Stays in tune and the neck PU is really cool. I agree with other reviews on the bridge pickup being weak - but I never use it.

I took of one star for the neck setup - its a zero fret neck so the nut is just wrong and it was a fiddle to get it fixed (I could not get the nut out so I had fix it from the top) The fret work was rough, but with leveling and shaping the fret ends, it ended up playing very well and I can get good low action with no buzz.

Most important - I love to play it - and I have some choices there
