Comments: Really liked the grain on the neck for this kit so no stain, just a few coats of danish oil. The body was inked and coated with tung oil. About 10 coats on the face, maybe 3 or 4 on sides and back. The neck pocket took some work to get right so I built a jig for clamping the neck to the body so I could test it under tension before doing the final glue up. I ended up doing the wiring twice. Lesson learned, go straight to shielded wire for the entire circuit. Less noise and even the quality of the sounds was better. All said and done, a fun build. Sounds good, plays good.
