Comments: When life gives you lemons, make lemon aid! The guitar shipped with several flaws in the binding (voids between binding and body at the cutaway) I tried to fill them with super glue. It worked initially but when I stained the flame veneer it exposed the voids even more. I tried sanding back in those areas to rid of the blemishes but of course started burning thru the veneer. I went from staining honey then red then to black hoping to salvage the flaw but the burn thru was to obvious. Ugh!!! I was soooo bummed! I was determined to save this build so I decided to go a solid color. This guitar now looks amazing and shreds as good as any of my guitars that I paid thousands for. Of course with some upgrades. I added gotoh tuners, a solid compensated wraparound bridge and a Seymour Duncan JB pickup. This will be my work horse for my band for sure. Very proud of the way it turned out!
