Comments: Shaped the headstock with a router. Used Keda Dye stain powder, straight blue, on the body. A natural finish stain the neck. A couple of light coats of lacquer sealer. Then probably 3 or 4 coats of clear lacquer on the neck. More like 20 or 25 on the body. I did replace the stock pickups with some '62 P-Bass pickups from the Fender Custom Shop. Never soldered anything before but replacing them was pretty easy. Got some advice from a luthier I work with just to be sure. Put some Ernie Ball Slinky Flatwounds on. Definitely a thumper!
