Comments: I wanted to make a jazz guitar with a sunburst color, and besides the fine look, I achieved a very good sound. I changed the neck pick-up to a more warm sounding PU. I first tried a set of .012 flatwound strings but found that they where too hard to play, so I switched them to .011 strings, same good sound but much easier to play, and the action was also lower. You need very good soldering skills, so I had some help from a friend. All in all I am very satisfied with the result!
