We just got to NAMM and were privileged to attend a media preview event with the latest and coolest new products to hit the market. Also, Kenny Wayne Shepherd is standing behind me. So far I am most impressed with Farmer Foot Drums. You know how you need drums but would prefer to leave out the drummer? (not that I have ever felt that way about the drummers I play with- settle down guys). In a modern take on the one-man-band, Farmer Foot drums allow you to play a full drum kit with your feet. Kick, snare, ride and hi-hat. The modules are interchangeable so adding in bells or tambourines is a snap. The units sell for about $2150. Not bad when you consider you can stop splitting your take with a drummer.
