It helps that the guitar was made in 1835, and that it is almost 100% original. Oh, and also the former owner was Mark Twain.
Twain was a prolific traveler, exploring the early Western territory, the Pacific Islands, and across the Atlantic. He reportedly brought this guitar along on many of his travels.
