Thanks for visiting. I started The Fretwire over 10 years ago, aiming to have the largest selection of DIY Guitar Kits and world class support. The Fretwire grew thanks to a supportive community of builders and artists that created astounding guitars.
A few years ago, I sold The Fretwire to a group of eCommerce investors. I heard unfortunate things about the declines in product quality, support, and fulfillment. Eventually they decided to close The Fretwire and the site has been empty for more than a year.
In the meantime, I have been working hard on Vibeworks Guitars. My goal was to build on what I learned from The Fretwire to create an even better online community and marketplace for DIY Guitar Kit builders.
