@Digitech iStomp – A hands-on review

The year in guitar effects has been pretty mild, with the exception of the Digitech iStomp.  In my opinion, this is a pretty big shift in the world of the traditional stomp box.  Unlike Digitech’s earlier foray into the iOS space with the iPad-based IPB-10, the iStomp is practical and affordable (besides being cool.)

New at NAMM: Digitech iStomp Programmable Stomp Box

Digitech announced the latest addition to their product line today, just in time to debut at NAMM. The iStomp programmable Stomp Box pedal. The iStomp is a new pedal.  What kind of pedal is it?  Well, any pedal you want it to be, sparky. The iStomp pedal connects to an Apple iPad, iPhone, or iOS iPod using the DigiTech Smart Cable that ships with the pedal.  Once connected, the DigiTech StompShop provides two of the most popular requested effects, the DigiTech Total Recall Delay and the DigiTech Redline Overdrive with the initial purchase. The app also offers
